Wedding announcement gifts

Wedding gifting is an unusual brief for Rare Assembly, but this couple’s idea caught our attention: they had eloped and wanted to share the news through gifts with the message, “You didn’t miss it; we just couldn’t wait.”

They gave us almost complete creative freedom, with two requests: a timeless feel and champagne.

We selected a beautiful half bottle of Perrier-Jouët and carried the gold of its label through a cohesive navy, cream, and gold palette. A custom monogram connected the packaging and products, making every element feel personal to the couple.

The announcement unfolded through the unboxing. A generous cream band featured “You didn’t miss it” in large gold foil, with “We just couldn’t wait” beneath in navy. On the reverse, a small gold-foil “Just Married” offered a charming detail right where recipients would open it.

1. Custom product selection and design: Perrier-Jouët champagne, gold-tipped matches in a glass jar with a navy-and-gold label and a gold-foil monogram on the lid, and a custom candle with navy printing directly on its stone vessel and box.
2. Bespoke presentation packaging: A navy rigid gift box featuring the couple’s custom monogram, with a fitted foam insert for a clean, precise presentation. Custom shipping boxes were understated white on the outside, opening to reveal a repeating navy-and-cream monogram pattern—making even the first reveal part of the experience.
3. A coordinated announcement suite: A cream box band and accompanying card, both finished with gold foil.
4. International fulfillment: Assembly and delivery to more than 60 of the couple’s closest friends and family across the United States and Canada.
