Savannah College of Art and Design
Back-to-school gifts worthy of the next generation of artists and designers.
The Ask
SCAD asked us to rethink its back-to-school gifts for prospective students, elevating the design and experience within its existing budget. The gift needed to feel modern, creative, and relevant to the students drawn to one of the country’s most prestigious art and design schools.
Our Approach
We developed “Back At It,” a gift that invited students to put their own creative stamp on an everyday essential. A custom water bottle came with an original sticker collection, giving each recipient the tools to make it their own.
We designed every element from the ground up. A bold neon coral-and-black palette anchored the packaging, while a bespoke bee graphic gave SCAD’s mascot a fresh interpretation. The stickers combined references to SCAD, its campuses, and Savannah with playful design imagery. A coordinating insert invited students to start decorating.
The concept made personalization part of the experience—a natural fit for an audience of future artists and designers.
